Principal's Message

Dear Jonesport Beals High-School Community, 

I am both honored and excited to introduce myself as the new principal of JBHS. As we prepare for the upcoming school year, I want to express how eager I am to partner with our dedicated staff, supportive families, and wonderful students to build upon the rich traditions. 

Throughout my 12 years in education as a teacher, athletic director, mentor and coach, my core philosophy has remained simple: every student deserves a safe, engaging, and inspiring environment where they feel valued and empowered to reach their full potential. Academic achievement, strong character, and a supportive culture go hand in hand. 

As I step into this role, my primary focus in the coming weeks will be listening and learning. I want to understand what makes Jonesport Beals High-School special to you, where our greatest strengths lie, and where we can continue to grow together. 

Beyond my career in education, a little about me personally: I am a proud parent of two. A senior and a second grader! My husband and I will be celebrating our 19th year anniversary on Sept 1st, and we are both local to the downeast area and truly love where we live. I am an avid sports fan and a lover of nature. Navigating the high school years as both an educator and a parent gives me a grounded, practical perspective on the daily balance our teenagers and families face. 

Thank you for welcoming me into the Royals family. Together, I know we will make this a memorable and fulfilling year for all of our students.
